Celtic Chinese gig, fashion etc.

Well I may be a little late with this but here it is now. We did a great gig at Henrys Cantonese restaurant in the Jewellery Quarter on the 11th June, thanks to all of you who came and supported us even though the footy was on!! Fusing the traditional chinese music with celtic folk songs and tunes is something we are just exploring and after the success of this concert I feel sure there will more of this in the future.

Coming up,

Celebrating Sanctuary World Music Festival has been occurring this month with some fantastic concerts and events across the city. There are still a few left if you wish to catch them go to this link Celebrating Sanctuary for full details of all the events, times, and prices.

Also,

Grandma Chic and Andrea Bonnell are doing a fashion show at the wonderful ORT cafe in Birmingham on the 27th June 2012 from 8pm. There will live music from Abie’s Miracle Tonic, LIttle Sister, The Brave Sons of Elijah Perry and Mellow Peaches and all of this for just £4!!!  I will be doing just tiny bit of modelling for this show and there will lots of exciting things going on and yummy food from ORT cafe to keep you sustained.

Check out my lovely friend Sam’s Grandma Chic blog about her up-cycling exploits and her shop where you can buy some of these fab garments (modelled by me!). Click on this link to find some of her clothes Storebeez.
