MBF, IOW, Chinese Celtic Music Concert!

Dear all and a happy May bank holiday!

I am pleased to announce that I have been awarded some funding from the Musicians Benevolent Fund. This is so exciting as it means I can continue working on project I’ve wanted to do for years involving my settings and arrangements of poems. I’ll keep you posted with up dates on my progress and hope to have a performance sometime in the next year.

Next week Sid and I are off to the Isle of Wight for our mini tour. Such a beautiful place to visit and we can’t wait. Here’s a link to the Quay Arts Centre where we’ll be playing on the 18th May. For more information on our Isle of Wight concerts please click on this link to Vaguely Sunny or go to my gigs page.

I will be doing a very special concert with Sid on the 11th June. We are collaborating with Birmingham Chinese group ‘The Jasmine Moon Ensemble’ for a very special concert of Chinese and Celtic music.

The concert will be at Henrys Cantonese Restaurant in St Pauls Square, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. Tickets are £8/£6 students and can be purchased from Henrys directly on 0121 200 1136 or on the door or via ticketsellers.com. Please come and support this special event, we think it will be a great evening of beautiful music.

Incase you think I’ve been rather quiet recently, well I have! Things are brewing though 🙂
